Quick Step Clear (QSC) Aligner Usage Guide

QSC aligners will by their nature and design, be very tight when first fitted, and indeed may not sit down properly at first, but with perseverance, they will fit after a day or so. This is because the teeth would have gradually moved into the new position.

QSC Aligners should be worn for 24 hours per day in order to produce maximum effectiveness and keep your treatment plan on time.

QSC Aligners can be removed for eating and cleaning or flossing. We recommend that they are removed before drinking hot drinks, such as tea or coffee, or before drinking red wine or other fluids which may stain the appliance.
Aligners can be cleaned using a soft bristled tooth brush and water. Holding the Aligner in the centre during cleaning, and not at either end, will help to prevent it from flexing, as this can lead to it being weakened and result in breakage.
Toothpastes should not be used to clean the Aligners as they can scratch the surface.
